Our Beach Trip and BOYS sentences

On Tuesday we went on a trip to Omanu Beach; below you can see the photos of our wonderful experience. We had lots of fun in excellent weather, plus we learnt a lot about surf safety.



We have also been learning how to write compound senentences using BOYS (but, or, yet, so) to join two simple sentences. Below is our collaborative Padlet where students have practiced this.

Class Rules 2016

In a classroom full of students learning we need rules to guide our behaviour and learning so that everyone has an equal opportunity to learn. Rules also help students develop citizenship and social etiquette. Room 12 students have discussed our class rules, consequences and rewards. Below is a photo of our class rules which we follow. We encourage parents and whanua to discuss these at home.
